Front-End Web Developer  

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who is motivated in combining the art of design, user experience, and programming. Responsibilities will include the translation of the UI/UX wireframes/design comps to code that respects the visual elements of the design.

This role will work closely with our awarding winning BrandRap team to create an innovative marketing campaign, leveraging social media, gaming and infographics to communicate value to User for our Clients. You will work with UI/UX designers and stakeholders to bridge the gap between designs and technical implementation, taking an active role to contribute to defining how the campaign looks as well as behaves.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Document work to enable other developers to build on progress
• Work with back-end engineers to integrate front-facing features with APIs
• Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability, and SEO
• Develop automation test scripts for quality assurance and regression testing
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Planning and managing BrandRap special executions

• Understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.
• Experience delivering software platforms used across multiple products and organizational units
• Knowledge with integrating with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ..)
• Basic knowledge of security principles
• The position requires constant communication with colleagues
  • 1-5 years of proficiency in the following:
  • Web and Mobile markup; including HTML5, CSS3, touch interfaces
  • Client-side scripting; JavaScript, Mobile Touch, React/JQuery/AngularJS/Vue a plus
  • Cross browser and device compatibility
  • Service oriented architecture and microservices
  • Version control/Git
• Some understanding of the following:
  • CSS frameworks and preprocessors, i.e. SASS, LESS
  • Javascript frameworks, task-runners, module builders
  • SEO principles and best practices
  • Asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Image editing tools such as Photoshop
• Pluses for the following:
  • Javascript preprocessors
  • Node, Express, Webpack
  • AWS and cloud infrastructure
