Job Description
- Responsible in the negotiation with supplier for support and trade deals
- Negotiates with suppliers for exclusive or special items for best deals and offers
- Forecast merchandise trends and analysis of current trends
- In-charge of merchandise selection, sales analysis, and allocations
- Responsible for the different items being carried in their respective department
- Decide what action plan to take for fast and slow moving items
- Evaluates performance and provide recommendation to personnel action
- Mainly assure that stocks are always available in all stores
- Supervise activities and performance of subordinates which includes output monitoring, problem resolution, and work allocation
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, or any related course
- Ability to work with data, analyze promotions, and work on range reviews
- Ability to prioritize, demonstrating first class organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent negotiation, customer service, and consulting skills
- Strong market knowledge and experience in working across various functions
- Able to work on their own initiative and adaptable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in wholesale or retail industry would be an advantage
