Job Description
- Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data
- Make cost-effective purchases and ensure we maintain a fully stocked
- Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
- Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements
- Plan and implement supply chain optimization projects
- Develop requirements and standards for procurement and delivery
- Oversee inventory procedures and update internal databases with order details
- Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
- Evaluate vendor operations according to quality standards
- Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
- Collaborate with IT professionals to implement effective systems
- Conduct data analysis to improve purchasing operations
- Coordinate regular inventory audits and keep updated inventory records
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or any related course
- At least have an experience in purchasing or related role
- Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Experience in wholesale or retail industry would be an advantage
