Job Description
- Keep accurate records for all daily transactions
- Process invoices and prepare balance sheets
- Review and implement financial policies
- Create and update expense reports
- Enter financial transactions into internal databases
- Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Update internal systems with financial data
- Track bank deposits and payments
- Reconcile bank statements, invoices, and identify discrepancies
- Posts customer payments by recording cash and check collections in the system
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Monitor and analyze credit-worthiness of accounts and recommend proper actions
- Maintain digital and physical financial records
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
- Proven work experience as Accounting Officer or similar role
- Knows how to analyze and compute taxes
- Experience with accounting systems
- Knowledge of accountant rules and legislation
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using financial software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Professional qualification as a CPA is a plus
