- Code the software application requirements;
- Provide coding tasks status to superiors;
- Provide assistance to subordinate web developers;
- Observe, or help develop, company coding and site-mapping conventions and best-practice standards;
- Practices code reusability and optimization;
- Implement changes in database design;
- Modify user interfaces according to changes in functional requirements or database design.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least five years experience working in web applications development;
- Primary competencies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS;
- Secondary/support competencies: Bootstrap, Ajax, jQuery, MySQL;
- Additional competencies: Wordpress, Java Server Pages, PHP;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong abstraction skills to interpret technical specifications, data and process models, frameworks, business rules, and basic money math;
- Strong collaboration skills for working with the team, mindful of the client's time;
- Has worked on at least one large project.
