Job Description
- Shall monitor Safety and standards of the company in engineering terms and conditions
- Shall be in charge of the company's engineering and maintenance department supervision and management
- Shall be directly reporting to the AVP for Engineering
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Mechanical, Industrial or any Engineering courses
- With Professional Regulatory Commission License as Engineer
- Must be with at least 3-5 years experience as Plant Engineer in Food Manufacturing Industry
- Knowledgeable with GMP, HACCP, Waste Water Management, Process Engineering and Boiler and other Machine Operations
- With strong leadership and people management skills
- Can work with minimum supervision
- Physically Fit to work
- Flexible at work
- Willing to work in Valenzuela City

R.LAPID'S is one of, if not the largest manufacturer of chicharon in the Philippines. It has attained competitiveness and maintain a good reputation in the industry. Started in 1974 by a Filipino Entrepreneur with notable name of long years experience in chicharon and barbecue industry.
In 1995, R. Lapid's innovated and standardized the system of processing chicharon. It is the first to introduce cooking of chicharon in front of customers inside big establishments such as SM Supermalls, Robinson's Malls, Landmark Supermarket, to name a few. It is also the first Chicharon manufacturer to use imported pork skin raw materials from U.S.A., Europe, Canada, and Korea.
The Company's strength lies in its drive to provide excellent quality products while maintaining high standards or quality from raw materials, production up to delivery of goods to its growing number of satisfied customers.
Since it has started, the company has expanded tremendously. It has over several outlets within Metro Manila and neighboring provinces all following the company's tradition of giving Total Customers Satisfaction.
Accredited by the National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS) as a "AA" and certified GMP Plant; Registered in the National Library as a Copyright Claimant since 1996; Registered with the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) for the protection of its trademark since 2000; Licensed to operate as a food manufacturer by the Bureau of Food And Drugs (BFAD), which also issued a certification of registration for each of its products.

Barbecue
Our barbecue is certainly different from the others. From the way on the process of its marination combined with special spices comes its unique, imaginable and distinctive taste. Good as a mouth-watering everyday viand and snack for everyone on the go.
Chicharon
Our CHICHARON (Crispy Pork Rind) are made from the highest quality imported fresh raw materials that are processed with the best manner of cooking with quality checking procedures and following the high standards of food safety. All served with specially formulated RL Vinegar as dip sauce. Good for snack, side dish, even as appetizer, meal with rice & a perfect beer match. It's also great to mix with some Filipino dishes like Mongo, Binagoongan or Pinakbet or even as toppings for Palabok, Lugaw (congee) and noodles for a more satisfying taste.
