Software Developer  

GYPSY is looking for a Software Developer to help us build our ad platform as we cater to numerous clients. Also, we are looking for someone who is able to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment and comfortable working independently while adhering to frequent deadlines. Should be good in communicating project status to team leads and other departments consistently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance GYPSY products, platforms, and internal applications.
• Spearhead product unit testing and perform necessary fixes. Includes documentation.
• Support production issues and escalate concerns as needed.
• Analyzes technical specifications and converts them into code and a working system.
• Provide insights and inputs as a subject matter expert for technical-related concerns.
• Performs other job-related task that is needed by the company.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant and related experience in Information Technology and Application Development is required. FRESH GRADUATES with internship experience are welcome to apply.
• Understands Model-View-Controller (MVC) Framework.
• Understands web design concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
• With experience in building user interfaces and prototypes from wireframes and designs.
• Knowledgeable in PHP, CodeIgniter, Javascript, MYSQL, Bootstrap, is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Agile is a plus.
• Preferably with experience in Agile
• Working knowledge of SCRUM is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willing and a fast learner.
