Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.

• Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing account information and trends.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
• RA 1080 (Accountant)

Other qualifications include;

• Aptitude for mathematics;
• Ability to analyze, compare, and interpret facts and figures quickly;
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing;
• Practical knowledge of computers (basic accounting software packages) and their applications in accounting and internal auditing; and
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Have high standards of integrity;
• Must be good at working with people; and
• Can exercise independent judgment.
