Job Description
Efficient and effective management of materials
- Manage inventory at its optimal level
- Direct the maintenance of inventory records, replenishment of stocks, and plan for future requirements based on accurate firecasts.
- Monitor and analyze vendor performance in coordination with the Procurement Department to ensure specific requirements stated in the purchase order are met
- Ensure efficiency in the incoming and outgoing movement and storage of materials
Inventory planning and budget control
- Analyze the supplier market and delivery processes and lead times to determine appropriate level of materials availability
- Develop policies and procedures that ensure materials are available or issued as needed
- Prepare recommendations for cost analysis and variance control for management review and approval
Minimum Qualifications
- University degree in fields such as Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business and other related fields
- Knowledge and experience in supply chain systems: demand planning and forecasting, materials and inventory management, and warehouse management
- At least 1 years experience in materials management
