Summary:
You are responsible to carry out the collection and analysis of geographical data generated by geographical information systems (GIS). The work involves GIS database design, end-user support, application development, user interface development, and integration between GIS and other application software. GIS planning includes analysis and mapping of land use, environment, transportation and socio-economic factors.
Minimum Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, debug and maintain an array of custom web based GIS applications, tools and supporting web services using standard software lifecycle processes
- Provide support, troubleshooting, modifications, enhancements and maintenance for existing GIS applications, scripts, tools and web services.
- Evaluating the functionality of systems in relation to the smart city solution in respective client’s city.
