Job Description
"Our company is seeking a creative Web Developer/ Graphic Artist who can enhance and develop our company website to achieve our business’ digital goals. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on professional with strong knowledge of content management platforms whether traditional or digital and an ability to translate our business needs into client-friendly functions that will expand our website’s influence in our industry."
- Will report to the Marketing Officer
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site;
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
- Create visual design content
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics, and layouts;
- Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
- Amend final designs to Marketing Manager for comments and approval
- Design marketing collaterals: fliers, banners, social media posts, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent
- Required language(s): English, Filipino
- At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent
- Ability to create support documentation for all new applications
- Strong teamwork skills
- Proven knowledge of the most current security and web development programming language
- Proven graphic designing experience
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
- Up to date with industry-leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, etc)
- Highly proficient in all design aspects
- Professionalism regarding time, costs, and deadlines
