Marketing Communications Associate  

The role of a Marketing Communications Associate/ Copywriter is the perfect combination of Business, Marketing and Creatives. He/she develops fresh new communication strategies, concepts and campaigns, AND writes advertising copy, based on clients’ business objectives and relevant consumer insights; at the same time, he/she serves as Project Manager, accountable for managing clients, teams, campaigns and deliverables.

A Marketing Communications Associate/ Copywriter is a proactive leader who possesses three things:

• A thorough understanding of their clients’ brand, market, business and culture
• The capacity to write advertising copy, that is both strategic and creative, and aligned with clients’ marketing brief
• The maturity and professionalism to manage a team and an entire campaign

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Formulate marketing, communication and advertising strategies
• Use marketing principles and competitive analysis to develop market positioning and messaging recommendations
• Conceptualize and implement Integrated Marketing Communications campaigns
• Meet clients to discuss marketing briefs
• Quickly grasp clients’ business and communication goals, and effectively brief agency’s creative team and 3rd party suppliers, —including copywriters, photographers, directors, editors, etc. —to create effective advertising campaigns for their clients
• Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
• Research clients' products, services, plans, competitors, target markets and industry trends
• Manage multiple projects for multiple clients at a time
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and deliver presentations to client for approval
• Take part in pitches for new projects
• Prepare and track Cost Estimates, Invoices, etc. and manage administrative and organizational work

• Good analytical and planning skills;
• Strong communication and writing skills;
• Marketing background is a plus;
• Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or Communication Arts
• Has a good eye for design
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Powerpoint, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent presentation skills
