Job Description

Design, develop, test, and deploy elegant software solutions impacting hundred of thousands of investors
Deliver high-performance low-latency APIs with complex requirements
Stabilize and optimize services under rapid growth demands
Build fault tolerant distributed systems with no negative impact towards customers or partners
Partner and collaborate with product and business leaders to define priorities while providing solution guidance
Share ideas or suggestions to actively contribute towards our startup engineering culture
Deploy to cloud/on-premise environments and be available to give technical assistance

Minimum Qualifications

A deep passion for technology and software development
Minimum 5 years of software development experience, preferably in distributed systems or event-driven architecture
Proficiency within one or more programming languages including C, Go, Java, or Python
Have solid knowledge of Kafka, Redis, MySQL and Cassandra. Bonus for FIX (Financial Information eXchange) protocol
Knowledgeable about Linux, Git and generally comfortable with using the command line
Basic understanding on computer architecture concepts such as concurrency, memory management, networking
Skilled practitioner of deployments onto cloud (AWS, Azure, etc) and on-premise environments
Able to work individually with limited guidance, responsible and self-motivated
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Strong written and verbal communications skills
