Procurement Officer  

We are seeking for a procurement officer to join and work closely with our growing dynamic marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for:

• the sourcing of marketing gimmicks, promotional items and point of sales materials to meet the needs of the brand management team;
• balancing considerations of cost, quality, reliability of source and urgency;
• acquiring new vendors both domestic and international, and managing vendor relationships;
• negotiating pricing and other terms of purchase;
• coordinating the submission of tenders and samples;
• working with in-house and external designers to translate design concepts to different materials and medium;
• working with suppliers and internal stakeholders to formulate cost-effective solutions which meet the needs of the brand management team; and
• project management and coordinating the production and delivery of purchased items.

Your professional profile should include:

• Preferably at least two years of relevant working experience in procurement or similar function, in similar industry;
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business management, supply chain or logistics or other relevant field;
• Interest in design trends and keeping updated with different products and materials available in the market;
• Good negotiation and relationship management skills;
• Flexible and proactive mindset;
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills;
• Ability to work independently and to multi-task and prioritise activities.
• Strong analytical and planning skills;
• Good communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent problem-solving skills;
