Job Description
- Manage a team of Tax Auditirs and Accountants
- Collect tax-related information and maintain company tax preparation system
- Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner
- Update the company tax database as tax rates change and update tax provision schedules
- Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities
- Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues
- Devise tax strategies to defer or eliminate tax payments
- Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work
- Prepare/Review other various tax filings: Annual reports, Intangible Tax, Sales and Use Tax.
- Advise management regarding the tax impact of business strategies
- Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings
- Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities
- Advise management regarding the tax impact of business strategies
- Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities
- Conduct research projects; model tax savings in prospective scenarios
- Provide an information source in the tax area within the company.
- Assist colleagues in financial planning and analysis
- Maintain required level of technical knowledge.
Minimum Qualifications
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent from a reputable University
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the same role
- Familiar with Microsoft office
- Preferably Holding Brevet A and B Certificates
- Deep knowledge in Accounting and taxation
- Familiar with e-SPT
- Fluently in English (oral & written)
- Team work player, hard and smart worker, accurate
- Independent and work into detail
- Ability to work under pressure
