Job Description
- Works directly with the Head of HRBP to define local requirements across the people agenda and workforce strategies to create a strategic approach for the business they support;
- Work directly with Leaders and Managers to anticipate and proactively translate business needs into the talent and workforce strategy;
- Oversees deployment of the global HR agenda for the business teams they support and are the first point of contact on HR issues for Managers and Leaders across that business area;
- Strategic and Operational HR partner to business leaders and a key member of the local management teams providing input and guidance on core people strategies, solutions and critical people issues;
- Works with CoE specialists to deploy core people and talent processes and initiatives within country, including change management process, e.g. reward; talent and employee engagement;
- Drives the agenda with local managers and leaders to align their local operations and employee capabilities to the overall strategic directions and the mid-to-long-term needs of the team operations;
- Drives organisational culture including the Renewal Agenda across management teams and support core initiatives to enable and drive the workforce through business transformation and change;
- Counsels and supports line managers and executives in the resolution of specific individual local HR issues in conjunction with HR Services; e.g. disciplinary actions incl. face-to-face meetings with managers/employee/works council representatives, application of early retirement programs with execution of individual cases, redundancies, terminations incl. negotiation of severance payments;
- Identify opportunities for Allianz managers and leaders to improve the performance of their teams through more effective HR interventions and initiatives, including AES support and change management;
- Employee advocacy, understanding the impact of actions and policies on employees and advocacy for their needs;
- Monitors solutions, policies and feedback to drive continual improvement within the delivery of strategies, services and solutions from HR to the business;
- Monitor quality and costs of services from the HR Organization across the management teams they support and address necessary actions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Experience in providing HR advice and guidance within a matrix environment;
- Having knowledge in Employment law and management of workers council (where appropriate);
- Experience in HR area (e.g. Talent, Performance Management, etc.);
- Solid experience in collaborating with multiple senior stakeholders.
- Understanding of Insurance business, HR processes and HR guidelines;
- Strong communication and facilitation skills to integrate different views & interests in an intercultural environment;
- Strong analytical, statistical, numerical and conceptual skills with ability to handle complexity;
- Customer focus orientated;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, additional languages optional.
