Allianz Master Class (AMC) is a competition-based talent development platform for millennial that aims to create innovation and solutions to promote advancement of insurance industry in Indonesia.

According to the data published by Indonesian Life Insurance Association in 2019, only 1.4% Indonesian people have acknowledged the importance of having insurance. In fact, insurance has lots of benefits, such as for investment, minimizing risks, and providing peace of mind. The low level of understanding could be due to a lack of information and low level of literacy about the insurance itself among the society. This indicates that the opportunity to share impacts and advantages of insurance in Indonesian market is still very wide open.

As AMC participants, you will be challenged to develop an effective, practical, and innovative marketing strategy to communicate attractive insurance products that suit the needs of Indonesia’s younger generation. We expect all participants to prepare their insight beforehand for the following case study:

“According to your research and observation, please briefly explain three reasons that caused low literacy and awareness about insurance products among Indonesian.”

All candidates should answer this question in English on Kalibrr custom question dashboard.

Camp Day 1 (Thursday, 29 August 2019)

• Team Building and Outbound Activities
• Networking Dinner

Camp Day 2 (Friday, 30 August 2019)

• Design Thinking Workshop
• Allianz Business Case Competition (will be directly mentored by Board of Directors and Senior Managers of Allianz)

Camp Day 3 (Saturday, 31 August 2019)

• Business Case Competition Presentation that will be attended by CEO of Allianz

• Live in JABODETABEK area

• Participants are Indonesian university students (minimum in 6th semester or higher), coming from diverse majors (business and economic majors preferred)
