Job Description
- Creates international travel arrangements including air, hotel and ground transportation. At least 80% of transactions will be multi-segment, multi-destination international itineraries.
- Handles multi-cultural sometimes multilingual clientele.
- Uses available sources such as news agencies, etc. to stay informed of current international affairs.
- Advises clients on requirements
- Operates with discretion within well-defined policy, regular managerial review
- Utilizes company preferred vendors to maximize profit, and ensures compliance with the clients’ travel policy.
- Attends staff and training meetings for ongoing updates in the travel industry and office procedures.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
- Adheres to company standards in delivering customer service including telephone etiquette, and follows prescribed customer service escalation procedures.
- Follows company procedures, guidelines, and standards in building Passenger Name Records, utilization of tools, productivity, accuracy of work, and attendance.
- Performs other duties as required and assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Completed at least 2 years in college
- At least 1 year experience in handling corporate travel account
- Understanding and expertise in international travel requirements, i.e. visas and passports
- Experience in handling Global Distribution Systems such as Sabre, Galileo and Amadeus is required
- Must have knowledge in travel industry and has obtained reservation skills in order to make international itineraries
- Excellent communication skills and follow through required to advise clients of those requirements
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Amenable to shifting schedule
