The Copywriter performs all writing requirements for advertising, promotions and other marketing-related purposes delegated by the AVP-Marketing Services.
1. Conceptualizes and executes copy for collateral, promotional materials, direct response, print advertising and events that support the company’s marketing and sales efforts in an appropriate and effective manner.
2. Collaborates with Graphic Artists, Multimedia Specialists and/or Visual Merchandisers for copywriting on projects that require such.
3. Responsible for the quality, consistency and timeliness of copy based on requirements of customers.
4. Responsible for the proper coding and back-up of finished projects (files).
5. Communicates with requisitioner in the absence of immediate leader.
6. Performs other duties as may assigned by the immediate leader.
7. Responsible for mentoring junior copywriters in their job functions as needed
Minimum Qualifications
1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Journalism, Advertising, Mass Communications or equivalent.
2. At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Job role in Copywriter or equivalent.
3. Basic knowledge of art/design software (eg., Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Corel/draw, InDesign, etc.)
4. Interpersonal skills
5. Good presentation and communication skills both oral and written
