Job Description
The Corporate Communications (Corp Comm) Associate serves as a brand ambassador, ensuring that all corporate materials (videos, audio-visual presentations, brochures, flyers, and other promotional materials) are updated and aligned with the Corporate brand identity guidelines of the company.
The Corp Comm Associate assists the Corp Comm Officer in the development of content for internal and external communication such as news, articles, stories, speeches, memo, policies and other content for marketing collaterals which can be promoted in various internal (The Primer Post, One Primer Portal, One Primer TV, bulletin boards, etc.) and external (website, social media channels: Facebook Fan Page, Linked In, Instagram, Twitter) communication channels. The Corp Comm Associate liaises with the different departments such as Human Resources Team for the employer branding and other internal and external branding activities, programs and campaigns that will build and enhance employee engagement. The Corp Comm Associate assists in the coordination with the internal Marketing and Public Relations team for external press releases and manages all advertisements, sponsorships of the company.
In addition, the Corp Comm Associate helps in event management and documentation of corporate events and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Internal and External Communications
a. Crafts/writes/edits news, articles/materials and covers events as needed to populate corporate platforms:
External channels
- Website
- Social media channels (Facebook Fan Page, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Internal channels
- The Primer Post
- One Primer Portal
- Corporate Profile Kit
- One Primer TV
b. Assists in the implementation of internal and external marketing and communication tools and strategies
c. Coordinates with business heads on the effective exchange of communication within the company
2. Digital platforms
a. Assists Corp Comm Officer in the management of the following corporate properties and their content and ensures that these platforms are current and updated:
- www.primergrp.com
- primergrp FB/IG/Twitter/LinkedIn
b. Supports management, security and protection of the company’s social media channels
c. Ensures that the content are aligned with the overall communication objectives of the Primer Group
d. Coordinates with various departments/agencies for content/materials
3. Branding
a. Ensures that all corporate materials (video, brochures, flyers and other corporate presentations) are updated and aligned with the corporate brand guidelines
b. Assists Corp Comm Officer in developing a wide range of informational, comprehensive and up-to-date corporate literature for the company
c. Ensures that the Corp Comm guidelines is communicated effectively and practiced by the employees
4. Publicity/Public Relations (PR)
a. Coordinates with the Marketing Services Team for all publicity writing (news and external releases)
b. Ensures that the materials are aligned with the overall communication objectives of the Primer Group
c. Contributes ideas and provide support in the successful management of the company PR initiatives
5. Mainstream advertising and sponsorships
a. Handles facilitation of contracts and documents for company sponsorships
6. Events Management and Coordination
a. Extends support, knowledge and expertise in all Corporate Events, community-building, company-wide activities and corporate social responsibility efforts
7. Administrative functions
a. Devises systems to ensure that corporate supplies and letterheads are updated and distributed across all offices

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications, Development Communication, Mass Communication or equivalent
- With at least one (1) year of relevant working experience
Skills/Expertise/Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to work under pressure
- Strong knowledge in editorial work, web maintenance, web development, social media structures and administrative policies
- PR background is a plus
- Must be organized, open-minded, team player, proactive, creative, innovative and has boundless energy, and positive disposition
- Works quickly without compromising quality of the output
