Job Description
The Role of the Business Systems and Processes (BSP) AVP is responsible for the overall leadership, management and execution of organization wide business processes, improvements and procedures.
Responsible in ensuring that business process, policies and procedures outcome are in harmony with an organization’s strategic goals. Introduces innovation into the process that can impact results, enhance profitability and achieve objectives.
- Leads in defining process improvement and implement interim solution to ensure business continuity.
- Responsible for establishing quick wins for the processes, policies and procedures that will be relevant to the system.
- Oversees continuous improvement based on business needs and growth
- Develops the team to support Regional operations.
- Leads continuous improvement of business processes
- Manages effective and accurate documentation, safekeeping & maintenance of policies & procedures of the organization.
- Ensures that all processes, policies and systems are maximized & tied up
- Oversees the creation of policies and procedures for processes that are not yet in place
- Partners with HR for the Policies & procedures training and rollout.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or any related course, preferably has Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
- With at least 7-10 years experience in the same field, 3 of which in executive capacity.
- With at least 5 years experience in policies, procedures and process management
- ISO 9000, Kaizen, TQM, Business Process Reengineering, Six Sigma certification are an advantage.
- Expert in flowchart design and implementation.
- Proficient computer competency with word processing, spreadsheets and databases, experience in ERP, such as SAP, Navision, HCM or equivalent are an advantage
- Advance skill and experience in change management, problem solving, communication, customer orientation, product technology, project management, team skills and quality management;
- Strong leadership and People handling skill.
- Strong negotiation skill; able to act and make critical decisions independently.
- Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders.
