Job Description
The Warehouse Manager is responsible to ensure accurate and safekeeping of goods in the distribution of the supply chain. He is responsible for the functioning (income and expense) of his department and he reports directly to Systems and Logistics Head.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for leading the company towards effective and efficient warehouse management. These includes the following scope:
- Manage inventory safekeeping and handling
- Oversee warehouse operations from:
- Accurate inventory data and tracking through our warehouse management system (WMS)
- Inventory control process
- Receiving and put-away process
- Warehouse layout and replenishment
- Picking, tagging and packaging processes
- Warehouse safety and organization processes
- Assess and implement effective and efficient mechanical automation
- Man-power allocations and placement
- People Management
- National and Regional warehouse implementation and management
- Assess and plan for the warehouse department
- Creates and champions policies and process that would ensure effective and efficient department workflow
Responsible for other tasks completion that may be assign as projects from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Warehouse Management Course
- At least 5 years managerial experience in a warehouse and logistics setting
Training/Skills Requirements
- Above average coordinating and organizational skills
- Excellent in oral and written communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Champions change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas
- Stimulate teamwork and harmony
