Job Description
- Construct data accumulation systems for a cost accounting system
- Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems
- Propose form for a cost analysis to be used in the process subject to the approval of the Plant Manager.
- Monitor manual & computerized inventory records.
- Consolidate the taking of periodic physical inventories, and reconcile it with records
- Update standard costs in the bill of materials
- Prepares Cost of Production Report, Statement of Cost of Goods Manufactured
- Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles
- Work with the materials review board to locate and dispose of obsolete inventory
- Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses
- Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances
- Perform cost accumulation tasks
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Accounting related course.
- With at least 1 year of working experience in costing and inventory.
- Excellent in Microsoft office application
- Keen to details, organize, with good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Can work under minimal supervision
- Experience in a manufacturing set-up.
- Must be willing to be assigned in Kaybiga, Caloocan City.
