We are looking for a candidate who can start immediately.
He/she is expected to lead the Construction Department and serve as a project coordinator to the entire project team.
The Construction Manager will report to the Construction Head and the President.
Scope of work covers the following:
- Regular update meetings with engineers, architects, and contractors on about ongoing projects, aligning the objectives and progress.
- Report to the Construction Head and the President's project progress and issues.
- Manage and evaluate the performance of Site Engineers and Project Engineers.
- Secure all equipment needed is available on site.
- Issue Site Instruction, Variation Order and Work Order to project management.
- Ensure Construction spending is within budget (materials, contractors etc.)
- Strive to attain Construction progress based on Project Plan with excellent quality output
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety requirements, as well as all other regulations.
- Work closely with the Procurement Team for materials and general Contractors.
- Work closely with the Controller/Permit Officer and the Contract Administrator.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree related to Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
- Proficient in Google Suite, MS Office, and Projects tools/software
- 10+years experience working and managing property/building development projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership skills
- Technical knowledge/expertise in all areas of construction (sanitary, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, civil, etc.).
