- Serve as a liaison between Site Engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Review accuracy of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) report submitted by Consultants.
- Review construction plans and generate the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for all construction disciplines, especially for electrical.
- Work closely with Site Engineers to produce comprehensive weekly and monthly Project Progress Reports.
- Scrutinize cost proposals submitted by Contractors, covering maintenance and material costs.
- Recommend to the Management the most beneficial project strategy for the Company and the external parties involved.
- Review the billings of the contractors and ensure that they are processed on time.
- Keep track of materials in the inventory and align with the Procurement team the materials to be purchased.
- Formally document any changes in construction plans, designs, and ensure that they are reflected on the budgets.
- Ensure that the department and individual Key Performance Indicators are met.
- Others may be required by the Company befitting the Quantity Surveyor's position.
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Electrical Engineer
- Proficient in Autocad (Revit knowledge is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good command of written and spoken English
- With at least 10 years’ experience in mid-rise to high rise building construction as a Quantity Surveyor
