Job Description

Why does this role exist

Reporting to the Assistant Training Manager, you will create valuable, reliable, informative, and engaging e-learning courses and content to help part-time associates upskill and keep up with the ever-evolving demands of our global clientele.

What your responsibilities are:

  • Create effective assessments: Create assessments that accurately measure learners’ understanding of the material as well as their ability to apply their understanding via practical situations. (20% of the time)
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product: Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc). (20% of the time)
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts: Apply tested instructional design theories, practice, and methods. Work with Subject Matter Experts in creating e-learning courses that cover advanced topics outside of the field of expertise of the Instructional Designer. Research and recommend new training and/or learning methods/platforms and keep up with trends. (20% of the time)
  • Facilitate the e-learning course. ( 20% of the time)
  • Manage database: Maintain project documentation and course folders. (20% of the time)

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in training-related activities for Sales and General Virtual Assistants roles.
  • At least 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.
  • You have experience working with a start-up organization.
  • You have basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge.
  • You are knowledgeable in course development software and at least with one Learning Management System.
  • Tools/System Proficiency - Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and any visual design/editing software
  • Education required: Bachelor’s Degree of any course
