Job Description
Career Overview:
Teacher Aides assist teachers in the care of children in a group setting. They care for children’s basic needs, such as bathing and feeding. In addition, Teacher Aides take care of cleaning and sanitizing the facilities.
Teacher Aides typically do the following:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care.
- Organize mealtimes for children.
- Help children keep good hygiene.
- Change the diapers of infants and toddlers.
- Assist with the toileting and bathing of children.
- Sanitize and clean facilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in education or psychology is preferred but we accept graduates of other degrees as well.
- Has love for children.
- Physically capable of caring for children such as carrying them.
- Has the energy and enthusiasm to play.
- Willing to care for the basic needs of children.
