Job Description
Career Overview:
Playcare Partners care for children in a group setting. They care for children’s basic needs, such as bathing and feeding. In addition, Playcare Partners prepare activities to promote the optimum development of the children in their care and help older preschoolers prepare for kindergarten or transition into elementary school.
Playcare Partners typically do the following:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in their care.
- Organize mealtimes for children.
- Help children keep good hygiene.
- Change the diapers of infants and toddlers.
- Organize activities so that children can learn about the world and explore interests.
- Follow schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime.
- Keep records of children’s progress, routines, and interest.
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in education or psychology is preferred but we accept graduates of other degrees as well.
- Has love for children.
- Physically capable of caring for children such as carrying them.
- Has the energy and enthusiasm to play.
- Willing to care for the basic needs of children.
