Job Description
Ensures the following are carried out successfully:
- Project is well defined, active, well represented, and have clear deliverables.
- Project is progressing and ensures that timelines vs. milestones are managed properly.
- Analytics output has business value.
- Conducts data storytelling and presents the final output to the stakeholders (Project and Business Teams).
- Appropriate chart types.
- Trends outliers and patterns are detected and highlighted.
- The entire presentation represents a cohesive story by linking charts together to derive actionable recommendations.
- The presentation is communicated in a compelling and engaging way to the upper Management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of IT related courses, Math or Statistics.
- At least 7 years of experience working as Data Analyst in a financial / insurance industry.
- Experience in presenting to Business Heads and upper Management is an advantange.
- Proficient on the following:
- Microsoft Office
- Operating Systems
- Network and internet methodologies
- Database design, programming/scripting languages (SQL)
- Gantt Chart
- Systems Analysis and Design
- Systems Development Lifecycle Principles
- Excellent written and verbal english communication skills.
- Must have advance understanding of the business:
- Can identify growth opportunities of the current business.
- Understands the importance of competitive differentiation.
- Can interpret statistical outputs and relate its impact to business.
- Create product strategies including pricing and promotions based on analytics.
- Can recommends short and long term business strategy.
