Job Description
- Oversee the planning, implementation & monitoring of assigned projects.
- Create a detailed project management plan based on project management standards to include the following deliverables:
- Project brief
- Project kick-off
- Project organization & other resources needed to complete the project
- Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) that identifies & sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project, indicating the people responsible & realistic timeline
- Risk assessment when needed
- Project success metrics
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree, in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Related Field.
- Minimum of two (2) years work experience as a Project Manager, handling moderate to complex scale projects
- Minimum of two (2) years work experience leading a team of at least 4 people.
- Team Player with strong communications and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills & process-oriented
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems
- Detail oriented with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts
- Organized
- Has self-initiative, passion for excellence
PREFERRED:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified
- Knowledge of the insurance industry
- Strong IT background
