Job Description
The Commodity Officer will add value to the Raw Material Committee by translating relevant data into information useful for decision making in terms of pricing, positioning, futures and basis in order to buy commodities at the least cost.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts commodity market research and analysis on trends, prices, current events, fundamental and other relevant factors affecting the supply and demand of the Flour and Feeds raw materials.
- Prepares charts providing technical analysis and interpretation as one of the basis or guide for pricing and/or buying.
- Gathers industry commodity information for the commodities enumerated & reports to RM committee.
- Provides information useful for decision making to the Raw Material Committee based on the fundamental, technical and world macroeconomic views.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Business Studies, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related fields is required for this position.
