Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
The Trading Transport Coordinator is responsible for the effective logistics support of the entire Luzon Trading operations thru effective management of third-party logistics that will ensure customer satisfaction on their delivery requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors and coordinates deliveries from either Subic, Manila port or Batangas to customer sites
- Plots communicated delivery dates and ensure deliveries arrive as scheduled. Provides timely, consistent and up-to-date information to concerned parties
- Assists TBMs and CCR in possible stock-diversions by providing needed details
- Follow-ups on-time billing submission to provider
- Assists Accounting Receivables in providing the needed information or document for reconciliation purposes of pending credits for collection
- Follow-ups Sales Team and CCR on daily delivery schedules
- Responds to logistics-related customer complaints by identifying corrective actions necessary to address the complaint
- Monitors and ensures containerized cargoes are within the allotted port free storage days to ensure no unnecessary demurrage charges
- Helps establish a good customer-supplier relationship by having a rapport and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Coordinates delivery instructions to the assigned service provider to ensure satisfactory service
- Responsible in systems related concerns ( i.e. systems receiving, ship confirmation and printing of DR)
Third Party Logistics Service Provider
- Manages relationship with accredited 3PL service providers
- Coordinates schedules of deliveries with truckers and shipping lines
- Issues letter of authority to the assigned service provider, including all necessary details for easy pullout
- Secures delivery feedback and confirmation from truckers
- Reminds trucking coordinators of the specific unloading requirements of each customer
- Ensures delivery documents such as trucker waybill, delivery receipts (DR) and others, are returned to Pilmico Taguig office
Logistics Administrative Work
- Validates 3PL billings to ensure the accuracy of date and matches delivery documents/requirements against billing documents to facilitate efficient collection process
- Extends assistance to both internal and external customers in providing the needed delivery document
Other Tasks
- Perform other related activities that may be assigned by immediate superior
Minimum Qualifications
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of any four (4)-year course
- Minimum experience of 2 years in transport coordination
- Minimum experience of 1 year in Subic transaction
COMPETENCIES
- Good communication skills and time management skills
- Computer literate
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheet. Excellent analytical ability
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
