Job Description
As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all accounting aspects of the project including but not limited to progress of projects, investigate variances, approve expenses & chargeable time and ensure that project billings are process on time.
You will also be expected to:
- Prepare monthly project and job costing report by ensuring the completeness and accuracy of entries in ACCPAC system.
- Ensure the completeness and validity of disbursements by evaluating the supporting/attached documents.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of Daily Time Report.
- Check the accuracy and completeness of inventory for materials and equipment (light & power).
- Ensure the proper disposal of scrap and allocations of its proceedings.
- Resolve all accounting discrepancies through proper investigation.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy.
- Preferably a CPA.
- At least 5 years experience in General/Cost accounting, preferably in the Real Estate industry.
- Knowledgeable in A/P processing, disbursement, financial reporting, and other related functions.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Able to focus despite the work pressure and tight deadlines.
- Keen to details and trustworthy.
- Must be a local residence of Cagayan De Oro.
