Summary

Act as the Primary Care Physician focused on how to cure tuberculosis and control the spread.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

• Perform rounds in the ward include the following tasks:
  • Take a history and examination (again) of newly admitted patients.
  • Make a diagnosis and treatment plan for all patients in the ward.
  • Complete charts of assigned patients.
  • Take responsibility for developments.
  • Request laboratory results or radiological investigations.
  • Make discharge notes and prescribes medication.
  • Arrange or perform procedures.
  • Arrange referrals.
  • Attend conscientiously in a professional manner to patients in the wards.
  • Perform dispensary work and other medical services relevant to the duty detail.
• For Doctors assigned in Out Patient, you will perform the following:
  • Take a history and examination of new patients.
  • Request laboratory results or radiological investigations.
  • Make a diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Contribute to the medical knowledge in the hospital by doing the following:
  • Discuss cases during TBDC.
  • Attend conference, lectures, demonstrations, and staff development programs scheduled for the staff.
  • Present cases in the conference and give lectures to student affiliated to the Institute.
  • Teach and coach Junior Medical Doctors.

• Licensed Doctor.
