Job Description
The Junior Electrical Engineer is responsible for all electrical facilities of PT&T, such as administration buildings, offices, and network sites. He/she shall design, build, integrate, monitor, and maintain all new and existing electrical facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, check and compute electrical loadings on existing facilities such as buildings, rooms for networks, and administration offices.
- Conduct site surveys and audit on existing and new facilities.
- Coordinate with installers and subcontractors and oversee electrical-related activities.
- Conduct site integration and acceptance.
- Attend to electrical-related inquiries and concerns.
- Attend meetings with clients and suppliers if needed.
- Conduct site by site evaluation and audit.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer.
- Relevant and strong exposure to TELCO industries of at least 1-2 years in implementation and roll out.
- Experienced in live network installation and termination.
- Can design and execute electrical plans and installations
Core Competencies:
- Must be strong in basic principles and fundamentals on Telecom facilities
- Knowledge in Autocad or other related software.
- Extensive knowledge on Microsoft Office software (word/excel/powerpoint)
- Ability to get along well with others and to deal effectively with team members, accuracy; reliability; resourcefulness; sound professional judgment; physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
- May perform incidental tasks, as needed.

Philippine Telegraph & Telephone Corp. (“PT&T” or “Company”) was incorporated on November 1962. In 1964, the Company was granted its first legislative franchise under Republic Act No. 4161. PT&T is currently operating under a legislative franchise granted to it last 2016 under Republic Act No. 10894 allowing it to operate as a telecommunications company for the next 25 years.
