Job Description
- Support the formulation of strategic plans and initiatives
- Forecast the company's 5-year performance by creating financial models and forecasting financial statements. This business plan can be used to analyze the actual performance of the company which is essential for decision making.
- Assess the profitability of potential business or projects that the company may pursue by creating financial models and forecasting financial statements of potential projects
- Size market opportunities, assess competitive situations, assess internal capabilities, assess the best way forward to capture opportunities, and review of potential transactions/acquisition opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of Business, Management Engineering, Accountancy, Finance, Economics, or the equivalent
- With experience in developing and evaluating business plans
- With at least one (1) year of work experience in a strategy, corporate planning, or business development role
- Relevant work experience in consulting, investment banking, investing, or equity research preferred
- Certified Public Accountant and/or Chartered Financial Analyst is an advantage.

Philippine Telegraph & Telephone Corp. (“PT&T” or “Company”) was incorporated on November 1962. In 1964, the Company was granted its first legislative franchise under Republic Act No. 4161. PT&T is currently operating under a legislative franchise granted to it last 2016 under Republic Act No. 10894 allowing it to operate as a telecommunications company for the next 25 years.
Since its inception, PT&T has been a pioneer in technological advancements in the telecommunications industry. In support of its operations, PT&T secured various certificates of public convenience and necessity (CPCN) and provisional authorities (PA) allowing it to operate and maintain telecommunications services in the Philippines. PT&T operates wired and wireless telecommunications systems, lines, circuits and stations throughout the Philippines for public domestic and international communications. Subsequently, PT&T was able to provide data communications services to implement its expansion and improvement programs covering the installation, operation, and maintenance of an integrated digital network in the National Capital Region (NCR) including the national packet data network with the accompanying authority to charge rates for said service.
PT&T is currently embarking in a comprehensive improvement of all its existing facilities to provide a more reliable and stable internet connection.
