Job Description
- Recommends possible ICT-based solutions on existing work processes.
- Assess proposals and quotations and make corresponding recommendations.
- Evaluate ICT related purchase requests.
- Prepares the Authority's Information Systems Strategic Plan (ISSP).
- Maintains the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Infrastructure of the Authority and its peak operational efficiency. This includes the following:
- Computers
- Software including Operating System, Utility and Application Software
- Servers
- Internet and other ICT services (excluding phone subscriptions)
- Local, Wide Area, Wireless and other Data and Voice Networks
- Telephone System
- PRA website
- PRA e-mail system
- Automation System
- Printers, Scanners and other peripherals
- Collates and interprets data received from ICT resources, including calls, e-mails generated from the PRA website. This interpretation shall then be included in Excutive Summaries for general consumption.
- Trains and supervises helpdesk personnel, who will be responsible for doing front-line response to queries and requests for assistance made by PRA employees.
- Prepares reports and position papers on ICT related subjects, as needed.
- Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC;
- 4 yrs. of supervisory/management experience;
- 40 hrs. of supervisory/management learning and development intervention undertaken within the last 5 years;

About PHILIPPINE RETIREMENT AUTHORITY
The Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) is a government owned and controlled corporation created by virtue of Executive Order No. 1037, signed by former President Ferdinand E. Marcos on 04 July 1985. On 31 August 2001, through Executive Order No. 26, the control and supervision of PRA was transferred to the Board of Investments (BOI) – Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) from the Office of the President.
On 12 May 2009, Republic Act No. 9593, otherwise known as Tourism Act 2009, PRA became an attached agency of the Department of Tourism and placed under the supervision of the Secretary.
PRA is mandated to attract foreign nationals and former Filipino citizens to invest, reside and retire in the Philippines with the end view of accelerating the socio-economic development of the country contributing to the foreign currency reserve of the economy and by providing them the best quality of life in the most attractive package.
