Job Description
- Develop and plan resource generating programs & activities with guidance and support from the Chapter Administrator
- Promote and champion resource generation and membership programs and activities within the community
- Coach & mentor volunteers to support resource-generating activities and membership programs
- Build and maintain effective networks and relationships with business and community leaders to support Philippine Red Cross resource generation activities
- Coordinate & support implementation of membership and resource generating programs and activities
- Ensure programs and activities adhere to Philippine Red Cross guidelines & standards
- Evaluate current programs and activities
- Identify and recommend enhancements to existing programs and activities
- Coordinate staff & volunteers to support program & activity implementation
- Support Chapter & National Headquarters with the preparation of reporting by supplying accurate & time data & information for monthly and annual reporting.
- Support Chapter operations and activities as requested by the Chapter Administrator/Manager
- Program Planning and Implementation
- Assess needs and problems of the communities
- Make plan of action to be submitted to immediate supervisor
- Implement approved programs in Volunteer Service;
- Organized, prepare, conduct training and dissemination information on Red Cross services;
- Monitor and evaluate program implemented within the chapter to ensure successful delivery of the services in target communities;
- Consult with the Chapter Management and coordinate with the Chapter staff and volunteers to ensure an organized and collaborated delivery programs along with the other services;
- Consult with the offices at National Headquarters to keep abreast of developments and to keep chapter service activities in line with their plans and activities with prior approval of Chapter Manager
- Prepare monthly and annual comprehensive accomplishment report for submission to the Chapter Administrator and at National Headquarters
- Seeks for the improvements of services deliveries through sound recommendations, suggestions, proposals and innovations
- Assist in fostering healthy relationships with the Chapter and other organizations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year experience in training or facilitation
- Experience with PRC as a staff member or volunteer preferred (or similar humanitarian organization)
- Understanding of Volunteer Management programs and goals preferred
- Project management or coordination experience an advantage
- Demonstrated proficiency with applications such as Word, Excel, PPT
- Experience of managing or coordinating projects and volunteers;
- Experience of working across different sectors and developing links with other agencies.
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in Resource Generation or similar role required
- 2 years’ experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer preferred (or with a similar humanitarian organization)
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships within and external to the Philippine Red Cross
- Demonstrated proficiency with applications such as Word, Excel, PPT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
