Job Description
Responsible for the provision of technical, coordination and support services in producing qualitative and quantitative reports, reporting requirements and communication-related tasks for the implementation of the WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) programs of the Philippine Red Cross in emergency, recovery and developmental contexts
- Lead in developing and establishing an effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning plan and system for the WASH Office
- Develop appropriate database system and ensure that involved personnel are equipped with necessary skills in implementing the plans and maintaining the systems
- Ensure that cross-cutting themes are integrated into the MEAL plans and system
- Contribute to design and implementation of periodic evaluation of activities including baseline/end line surveys, research and evaluations
- Monitor and evaluate overall progress on achievement of results
- Conduct regular field visits to support monitoring and evaluation processes, data validation and monitoring of quality and completeness of data sets
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Sociology, Development Studies, Development Communication or related courses
- Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in designing and executing communication activities
- Significant monitoring and evaluation experience in humanitarian or development programs
- Knowledge of and experience with media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods
- Familiarity with the SPHERE Standards
