Job Description
- Design and develop community programs
- Review and recommend enhancements regarding existing programs
- Organize and implement Red Cross community programs
- Partner with the Philippine Red Cross Staff, Volunteers, Chapter Administrators, Project Officers, Community Representatives and Local Government Units to successfully implement projects
- Recruit volunteers to support the implementation of community-based programs
- Coach and train volunteers
- Develop and implement sustainable engagement strategies for the community, volunteers
- Lead volunteers to successfully deliver community programming
- Develop and implement sustainable engagement strategies for project partners
- Facilitate ongoing communication between all project partners and volunteers
- Deliver reporting regarding program progress on a regular basis
- Communicate any programs risks or challenges in a timely manner
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years’ practical experience in Community Development & Organization
- Experience with the Philippine Red Cross as a staff member or volunteer advantageous
- Demonstrated proficiency with applications such as Word, Excel, PPT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
