Job Description
- Prepare and maintain a continuing record of the following:
- Detailed accounts analysis with corresponding monthly recapitulations/summaries.
- General subsidiary ledger’s balances.
- Schedule of account requiring and or correcting entries.
- Undertake first-hand recording and sorting/classifying of financial transaction on prescribed book of accounts i.e both original and final entry books, journal and ledgers
- Coordinate with Staff andOofficers concerned regarding liquidations of working sub-advances and prompt accomplishment of reimburse field expenses vouchers i.e accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely updating of bookkeeping records.
- Advise Head of Office through pertinent annotation on entries for baseline reference and appropriate basis for action.
- Assist in the preparation of the Chapter/Office annual budget proposal making compiled bookkeeping records a reference.
- Perform other duties and function that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Business Administration, preferably major in Accounting.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience
- Good analytical skills.
