Job Description
To coordinate and implement the shellter and livelihood recovery programs for Typhoon Haima Operations delivered by the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) supported by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC)
- Organize and implement the Livelihood and Shelter based community programs
- Partner with the Philippine Red Cross Staff, Partner National Societies, Volunteers, Chapter Administrators, Project Officers, Community Representatives and Local Government Units to successfully implement projects
- Recruit, coordinate and engage community representatives to support Livelihood and Shelter programs
- Develop and implement sustainable engagement strategies for the community and project partners
- Facilitate ongoing communication between all project partners
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree graduate
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ work experience in community-based programs or community mobilization
- Experience training, coordinating and supporting community-based volunteers
- Engagement with local or international non-government organizations is an advantage
- Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer preferred
