Job Description
- To develop and implement sustainable Red Cross Youth (RCY) recruitment, engagement and retention programs and activities on behalf of the Philippine Red Cross at Chapter level.
- Review and recommend enhancements to existing RCY programs, activities and strategies.
- Create and develop new strategies with a focus on sustainability
- Deliver volunteer training programs in line with Philippine Red Cross goals, targets, and objectives.
- Coordinate & support RCY events, workshops & camps.
- Monitor the progress and success of strategies, programs, and activities aimed at RCY.
- Assist the Chapter Administrator and wider team with Chapter operations, activities, special projects and assignments as required.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of any 4-year course.
- At least one year experience in the training and development of Red Cross Youth or its equivalent experience
- Ability to establish a professional relationship with the youth.
- Has excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative, work well under pressure, plan ahead and work within agreed time frames.
- Computer literate and willing to travel extensively.
- Willing to work beyond office hours, holidays and disaster time.
