Job Description
To provide support to the Operations Center team of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in monitoring all aspects of disaster and reported incidents
- Receive incoming calls pertaining disaster and incident report from PRC Chapters and record all calls in the executive dashboard management system.
- Monitor and log the reported disaster and incidents via television, radio, online, phone calls and etc.
- Assist the Team Leader in consolidating daily reports to update the PRC Chairman and Secretary General
- Coordinate with the Operations Team Leader/Officer to provide immediate action on reported emergencies
- Verify the report and information received by the Operations Center
- Collect statistical reports and chapter actual situation from the PRC chapter level during disaster, accidents and special events
- Oversee the Executive Dashboard and advise the Team Leader of any new inputs from the chapters.
- Gather reports from the responders during responses and ensure to account on the dashboard.
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of bachelor’s degree course
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft applications (Advanced Excel and Powerpoint)
- Knowledge in Basic Programming and basic computer troubleshooting is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships within and external to the Philippine Red Cross
- Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer preferred
