Job Description
Position Purpose: To facilitate a timely and effective supply chain and logistics process to support the on-going recovery efforts of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in partnership with the Swiss Red Cross (SwRC).
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate with Ormoc Project Team to facilitate timely approval of procurement documents at the National Headquarters
- Facilitate and participate in all aspects of the procurement process
- Maintain document to full audit trail standards and provide recommendations for goods and services required by the Country Office
- Support the project in establishing and maintaining standard warehousing logistics policies
- Ensure compliance to PRC/SRC Procurement policies and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related course
- Minimum of 3-4 years’ work experience in similar position managing Logistics and Procurement
- Experience as a Philippine Red Cross staff member or volunteer preferred (or with a similar Humanitarian organization)
- Demonstrated proficiency with applications such as Word, Excel, PPT
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
