Communications Assistant  

Responsible for developing written content for communication materials to promote the ministry, campaigns, and Scripture offerings of the Bible Society through the following channels:

• Printed materials
• Online platforms (email, website, social media)
• Traditional media (radio and television)
• PBS official activities and event

Covers PBS events conduct interviews and consolidate verified information in order to produce reliable write-ups for communication releases.

Writes monthly prayer supplement for distribution to PBS staff, members, advocates, donors, trustees, UBS, and other stakeholders.

Researchers in print, digital, and traditional media communication trends and recommends next steps to improve the effectiveness of releases.

• College graduate, preferably of BA or BS in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or other communication-related course
• With at least 2 years of work experience in a related field.
• With very strong written communication skills – must be able to write engaging, compelling content both in English and Filipino
• With excellent verbal communication skills and able to interact professionally with people
• With proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; internet-savvy
• With exceptional attention to detail
• Target-driven, results-oriented, works well under pressure
• Highly organized and able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Flexible and a team player
• Willing to travel
