Job Description

The Product Specialist/ Lead is responsible for effectively and efficiently:

  • Onboarding and launching new products/partners under the assigned Product Category;
  • Managing assigned products/partners, including achieving their target
  • Responsible for executing all Added-Value Products (AVP) logistics in coordinating and resolving Company-Owned Stores/Branches (COWs) and Sub-Agent concerns with AVP Service Partners.

Business Development

  • Scanning of Products and Services in the Market, Partner onboarding and Product Launch;
  • Market Scanning for potential Products under assigned Product Categories;
  • In-charge of potential partner meet-ups and relevant documentation for on-boarding of new Partners, and assists in the negotiation of commercial terms (that will form part of the Contracts;
  • Schedule Partner meet-ups and prepares Minutes of the Meeting (MOM);
  • Ensure completion (including signing) of all Partner Onboarding Documentary Requirements (NDA, Partner Scoping Form, Corporate documents, Contract, Lengster Matrix, etc.);
  • System Integration. On top of AVP's involvement in the Sprint Planning, monitoring of the status of the Sprint with IT, Sprint Review, module testings (UAT's), and module acceptance;
  • Marketing. Organize & attend Partner Marketing & PETNET Marketing Coordination/Collaboration Meetings;
  • Internal / External Collaboration. Set meetings with Finance, Branch Ops/SAM, L&D, Marketing, Risk, Compliance; set meetings with Partner counterpart departments prior to launch;
  • Training of Company-Owned Stores (COWS) / Sub-Agent (SA) Branches and SA Product Presentations;
  • Training Material. Collaborate with Learning & Organizational Development (L&D) Team for the Training Material preparation;
  • Actual Training. Schedule and ensures smooth Product Training for the Network Operations Sales team leaders and members;
  • Prepar and conduct Product Presentation to SA Management / Owners (by AVP);
  • Pre-Launch Logistical & Other Requirements: Ensures timely preparation & shipment to the branches of Product Application Forms, Marketing Materials (posters, flyers, door hangers, etc.), and other relevant materials. Coordinates with the IT team for the successful deployment of the Product to the Unified Service Portal (USP) prior to the actual launch date. Created Group Hangouts for the Product / Service to be launched for fast/easy communication with the branches and RHs and timely issue resolution upon launch;
  • Incentive Program for the Launch. Preparation, Approval & Implementation of Product Incentive Schemes for Front Line Associates, etc; and
  • Product/Service LAUNCH and Subsequent Full Rollout to All Branches. Ensure timely and smooth launch and rollout.

Product and Account Management

  • Grow the Sales, Achieving the Targets & Ensuring Timely Commission/Income Payment;
  • Close Collaboration with Cluster Heads, Regional Heads and Front Line Associate;
  • Possible Marketing / Promotions in coordination with the Product/Service (Partners) & PETNET Marketing Department;
  • Implementation of a Continuing Branch Incentive Scheme. Jointly monitors with Accounting-Recon Team and ensures timely payment of Commission/Income by the Partners
  • Maintain good & lasting relationships with Product/Service Providers (Partners)
  • Attend to concerns/requirements of Partners in a timely manner
  • Product / Partner Transaction & Revenue Performance Monitoring & Analysis
  • Partner/ Business Performance Review
  • Contract Administration/Management – Ensures timely review and renewal/signing of Partner Contracts and effective implementation of Contract provisions; and
  • Attend to and promptly responding to concerns/queries/follow-ups of the Cluster Heads, Regional Heads, COWs and Sub-Agent Partners.

Report and Document Management

  • Prepares necessary reports for the products being handled under the assigned Product Categories.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, or Bachelor of Arts in Management, Marketing or Business Administration;
  • Experience: At least two (2) years of working experience as Account/Product Officer.
  • Skills: Account Management, Coordination Skills, Excellent partner relations skills;
  • Strong business sense and financial services industry exposure;
