Job Description

Stonestep is a growing insurtech company which provides new security to mass- and micro- customers via partners like mobile operators, mobile money providers, retailers, and others.

We are looking for an Executive Team Assistant who provides high-level administrative support to team members and company executives by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging travel and conference calls and scheduling meetings.

You will work with local managers in Switzerland, Myanmar, Nepal, Malaysia and the Philippines to assist in a wide variety of tasks. This role will grow as the company grows, with the potential to give you new challenges and areas to work on. You will need to bring a flexible, hard-working and positive attitude to the job, with a willingness to learn new things.

The position reports directly to the Talent Officer and provides a unique opportunity in an early-stage company to grow with an experienced team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings and make sure the supporting materials are sent out / received on time before
  • Manage the incoming and outgoing correspondence (e.g., maintain an internal register, organize postal or delivery services, open, sort and distribute letters etc.)
  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
  • Record, type and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Greet and provide general support to visitors
  • Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management database systems.
  • File and retrieve corporate documents, records and reports.
  • Make travel arrangements (e.g., book flights, hotels, organize local transportation, etc.)
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the business and the team

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma.
  • Five years of administrative experience.
  • 3+ years in a similar role in aligned industry sector is a plus
