Job Description
- Develop highly custom WordPress based websites, focused on the back-end and PHP side of things.
- Create API integrations with JSON services
- Create WooCommerce websites
- Periodically work on front-end development tasks
- Fix bugs / create new features for existing sites under management by Rock Solid.
- Manage/configure linux hosting environment where sites are hosted.
- Occasionally work with key technical contacts at client’s team to work out specs etc
Minimum Qualifications
- BSc in IT or equivalent.
- Experience with Laravel or comparable MVC framework a plus
- 5+ years experience in developing PHP based websites, preferably using WordPress.
- Solid front-end development skills — knowledge of modern techniques; e.g. gulp, bower, SCSS and experience with Twitter Bootstrap.
- Ability to be laser-focused on a task and able to work fast and under pressure.
- Fluent in English.
