About the Role
As a member of our client service team, you will be supporting and managing research projects that come directly from our client firms globally. You will interact with our clients on one side, and targeted subject-matter Experts on the other. The Expert Research Manager’s main role is to focus on our clients’ research and project needs and define the Expert knowledge required to address them. From there, you will then research the relevant industries and companies in order to identify and engage relevant Experts in consulting with our clients. We believe the most successful people in this role will be resourceful, excited to learn the most efficient way to identify expertise quickly and embrace a 'whatever-it-takes' attitude. Overall you’ll have a passion for making an impact.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates timely interactions between our Experts and our clients to help further our clients’ research and assist in their business decisions.
- Independently manages and owns full responsibility for a book of client business by gathering research information through client interviews, understanding their objectives, and serving as a thought partner to deliver on custom projects – consultations, short-term consulting engagements, etc.
- Fosters relationships with various users at client firms, from a lower level to high-level executives.
- Speaks knowledgeably and professionally on OnFrontiers’ services to both clients and Experts.
- Builds relationships with the Experts in our network by identifying appropriate consulting opportunities for them; understand that the Experts are our asset.
- Consults with Business Development and Operations colleagues to contribute new ideas and strategic initiatives related to project fulfillment and network expansion.
- Develops a thorough understanding of various industry dynamics in frontier and developing markets.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a top tier university.
- English proficiency.
- Excellent creative thinking and research skills, with a focus on opportunities for growth.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including demonstrated oral, written, and presentation abilities.
- People oriented and excellent attention to detail.
- Innate personal confidence – ability to thrive in uncertainty and think on your feet.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, adhere to deadlines, while maintaining a high level of client service.
- Amenable to work in Quezon City area.
- Amenable to work on a night shift (US hours).
